DJ Eazy began DJing in 1993 and soon made his mark, playing at clubs across South Africa and the rest of the world. He has moved crowds in Swaziland, Malawi, Uganda, Lesotho, Botswana, Zambia, Amsterdam, New York and Germany. His forte includes Hip Hop, R&B and Gospel but his skills translate into many other styles.
He has worked on radio with both CCFM as well as UCT Radio and in 2003 he co-founded Hip Hop Education South Africa, an organization that works in schools and communities providing life skills programmes.
Eazy has worked as tour DJ for Zaki Ibrahim (Canada), Verbs (Nashville,USA), Sho Baraka (Atlanta,Georgia), KB (Reach Records), Jahaziel (UK), as well as Bizzle (USA). Musical collaborations include work with Jerome Rex, Nik Da Frik(France), J-Bux, Propaganda(USA), Hemelbesem, as well as Mondzz.
With over 20 years of experience both locally and internationally, DJ Eazy has built a reputation as one of South Africa’s veteran DJs. His excellent work ethic combined with superior professionalism has led to influential opportunities such as being a brand ambassador for Adidas in 2010 with the DJ crew, Chief Rockers, alongside DJ Azuhl and Falko Starr.
In 2018, DJ Eazy facilitated and hosted a series of Artist Development Workshops alongside Ready D with a competition element attached to the workshops. At the end of the 8 week program, the winner was awarded a recording session and digital distribution of their recorded material.
With radio in his blood, DJ Eazy joined Good Hope FM in 2009 as a shadow presenter and performed as guest DJ on various shows. In 2013, Good Hope FM introduced The Mix Revolution and Eazy hosted his own weekly show.
Since then he has moved up as producer and co-host of “The Ready D Show” on air from Monday to Thursday evenings (9pm -11pm) with SA Hip Hop icon, Grandmaster DJ Ready D as the host. The Ready D Show was a specialist show providing a platform for new and unsigned local artists and DJ Eazy curated all submissions. In 2020 The Ready D Show won Best Radio Show at the 2020 South Africa Hip Hop Awards.

In 2021 Dj Ready D moved to daytime radio to start “The Good Vibez with Dj Ready D” and requested that DJ Eazy join him on as show producer in this new time slot. The show airs weekdays between 12 – 3pm on Good Hope FM and features dj mixes each day just after the 2pm news.
DJ Eazy has a mix slot every 2nd Monday on the show.
